Celebrate Spring! 5 Easy Ways to Spring Up your Space
Brighten up your space.
As we slowly step out of the cold depths of Winter, I am looking forward to warmer weather, blooming flowers and some well deserved patio time.
Get out of the winter funk and warm up to spring by adding a pop of color such as blush or cool blue and some greenery to your space. Here are 5 easy ways to "Spring Up" this season.
1. A Pop of Pastel
Pastel colors are a safe way to ease into spring. Just by changing the pillow covers on the sofa to a blush, soft yellow or cool blue is a beautiful way to bring in cooling spring tones.

2. Add Greenery to Table or Mantel
If you are one of those people who like to keep a set dining room table year round, adding a simple spring garland to the table will get you in the mood for a spring time brunch any day of the week.
3. Floral Wall Paper
Ok. This one is going to take some elbow grease but it is beautiful. A floral wall-paper accent wall in your office or entry way will definitely scream Spring. There are some easy-peasy, peel and stick wall papers out there that can get the job done. This one is a Peony Wall Paper from Walmart.
4. Fruit Bowl
A fruit display is a great way to brighten up your kitchen table or countertop. Lemons, green pears and even artichokes can be displayed in a decorative bowl or vase. Artificial or real? I will let you decide.
5. Herbs/Bright Storage Baskets
A herb garden in the kitchen is a wonderful way to bring in color. Laura from Heart Filled Spaces made these cute herb planters out of tea tins. Many home and garden stores sell herb starter kits that will get you going in the right direction. Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Cilantro, Parsley and Mint are a few herbs that do well indoors. Of course its best for herbs to have some natural light so make sure there is a window near by.
Now, get out there, grab a cool refreshing drink and Spring Up!
You Got This.
