Charcuterie Board Recipe

Charcuterie Board Recipefeatured

A charcuterie board is a fun way to display small food items and bite-sized snacks usually as an appetizer. Historically, charcuterie is made of cured meats but in modern times charcuterie boards can be made of desserts, brunch, Spanish-inspired, Southern-inspired and can even be tailored with special seasonal items that are only available during specific times of the year.

Charcuterie boards have gotten really popular in recent years and can be found on the menu in restaurants, over flowing at weddings receptions, graduation parties, kid parties, girls night and of course on social media. There is a board for every occasion.

What inspired me to share this recipe? I came across some marble at a local store and decided to actually hand making a board with marble and wood. It was a fun DIY project and I was able to make the board just the right size for me and my storage area. Check out how to make your own board here.

This recipe is the foundation for any meat and cheese charcuterie board. It can be made small for a party of 1 or tailored for a larger gathering by adding more meats, cheeses and condiments.
